Are you an insured business and do you guarantee your work?

We do have public and product insurance through Elliot Insurance Brokers.  We personally guarantee all of our work and provide a follow up service for all our decking projects for up to 1 year. We stay in contact with our clients so if an unexpected problem does occur, we are on hand to resolve it.

How did you decide to get into your line of work?

We like to create, to build. It's a really nice thought to know people all over Perth have something we've built or installed at their home. People have invited us into their homes to work our skill. We also love to solve problems & visualise a solution when clients sometimes can't see what we can.

Do you have a favourite customer story you would like to share?

We built a big composite deck for a couple with no family in Australia. They lost their only son to a brain tumour and were desperately sad. They had planned the deck before he died but put if off so when we did build it, they were very relieved and felt it was a tribute to their boy.

What do you like most about your job?

We love seeing people's outdoor areas transform and we love what it means to the client. We built a balcony with a deck and patio for an elderly couple who had saved for over 2 years. When it was finished, they were over the moon. Their happiness with our project was priceless.

Because we offer a range of services, we get asked many different questions. The most common question is "when can you start?" and we say "how about next week?".  We also get asked about council procedures and because we have lodged hundreds of applications, we can help with all types of questions.

We've been in business in Perth since 1995. Our director started the company and its still going strong. We have many repeat clients and we deliver what we promise. Over 80% of our work is from referrals so we must be doing something right.

1) Engage in a quality tradesman to do the job right the first time with quality materials 2) Save for what you want. If your quote is just over budget but is from a good company and you feel comfortable with that tradesman, save. Its worth it in the end. 3) Don't go for the cheapest quote.

We provide a comprehensive written quote including all the materials to be used. We like to deliver a personal service so we offer a fixed quotation. Every job is individual, unique and someone's personal project and we like to treat them as such.

We specialise in decking, both composite material and timber. We are also specialists in creating bull nose verandas, patios and in ceiling lining. Being carpenters, we can turn our hands to anything outdoors. You tell us what you'd like and we're sure we can do it.

Our director is a qualified carpenter who has been hands on for over 20 years. Prior to this, he owned his own plumbing business in England. Our co-director has over 13 years of hospitality experience and 3 years local government experience which gives us the edge on knowledgable customer service.
