How did you decide to get into your line of work?

We decided to start Top Gun Handyman after spending many a long day working for somebody else. My wife & I have three small children and we wanted to gain a better work-life balance while doing something we love. We had been involved in many renovations and wanted to share our knowledge with others.

We had a client, John who was a retired pensioner & lived near us. He was quoted $2400 for the supply & installation of a small shed for his mower & tools. We were able to source a shed & install it for $670. The savings we provided made a huge difference in Johns life - It really was a "Win-Win"!

We really love the interaction with our customers and the gratification we get when they see the changes and improvements we have made. We develop ongoing long time relationships with our clients which is a great part of what we do. It really is a great feeling to make a change for the better!

Most of our customers know what they want , we just help you get there!  We really encourage clients to own their project or home improvements so that they end up with things exactly the way they want them - We are just a tool to achieve their desired outcome.

1 - Contact us early so we can help plan your project & save you money. 2 - Research & select the materials, paints, colours & designs you want before you start your project. 3 - Shop around for the best deals on materials as they differ between retailers - We can help!

We do offer a special weekly rate for projects that take 1 week or more. We can also tailor special plans for ongoing maintenance to businesses & property's.

Our Pricing is very competitive because we do not charge a call out fee, we do not charge travel for jobs within 20 kilometres of Donvale (3111) and we do not charge any mark up on materials. This means that you really are only paying for the work you are receiving!

For most small projects we normally work on an hourly rate however we are happy to discuss payment & pricing terms that suit the customers requirements. A great part of our service is that we do not charge a "mark up" on materials - This means you get more "bang for you buck"!
