I did a lot of work for a family in Gymea Bay. Initially it was for small paint work but expanded to painting almost the entire house. He believed in me and trusted my skills to help with concrete steps, sand and laquer his floors inside, laying new turf etc mostly while he was not home.

How will I do the work - I usually meet them first and discuss how the work will be carried out and ensure there is little or no inconvenience to the client. All work is carried out with client approval.

I am not a qualified tradesman but that is why I probably pay more attention to detail. I am thorough in my work, very easy to get along with and am very flexible. I won't ever accept a job which I believe is beyond me and I will be up front about it. I have quite a few learned skills.

How many rooms are to be painted and what exactly needs to be painted in those rooms. A general size or area to be painted. Pics are always good to give me a better idea of what needs to be done. Don't say, "I need my chairs and table painted". Describe qty and what they are made of.

With painting - remove furniture and obstacles With lawn mowing etc., remove items that would ruin the lawn mower blades Be clear about the work you need done and try not to change your mind once it commences.

I try to assess what a job entails i.e., how long the job will take, the cost of disposable materials I will pay for, the effort of work involved etc. I believe in customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Cash is normally good but I'm okay with bank transfers. I can charge a daily rate or job rate. I try to offer a good service at a reasonable rate.

I'm quite an all rounder. I can paint, repair, do garden work, tidy up, offer assistance with ideas, I can do minor plumbing and electrical, prepare gardens, demolish and so much more.
