  Unfortunately I had a bad experience and feel I should post here so others are informed before looking at using this company to do fencing. I contacted A K & Sons Property Maintenance on phone and emails from interstate to organize a fence at my property in Adelaide. Soon after it was installed tenants reported gate wouldn't close properly. Because it was fairly newly installed, I asked my agent to contact A K & Sons Property Maintenance to fix it. My agent said A K & Sons Property Maintenance was not responsive and took many days to attend. When he finally attended my agent said he was aggressive and not willing to fix it. Soon after it was fixed it had problems again and I had to use a different handy man to fix it twice. I returned to Adelaide during Xmas holiday and saw the fence the first time. I couldn't believe the quality of the fence I paid $2000 for! The fence is not straight, the corners have a very big gap can see into the yard from outside. The pole used for the gate is too small size and the weight of the gate pulled the pole and fence from its too shallow footings making the gate not line up to the other side of the gate and so won't be able to close. The hinges used also too small or not enough that it bent. He used patch work steel pieces. He didn't make a proper latch but just a sting hanging. My neighbor said he was not organised needed to borrow a few things from them and another neighbor also said he was aggressive. All the communication I had with A K & Sons Property Maintenance before problems happened was good and efficient. The photos he showed me before I signed up with him looked ok. There's no other complaint against him I was advised. So I don't know what's wrong but my experience is definitely a very bad one as now I have to take the gate off as it's useless now!
